Anna University and its affiliated colleges offer quality technical education at very affordable rates. The main campus CEG is the best with excellent faculty. The university has a strong reputation in Tamil Nadu and South India. Companies respect the rigorous training students receive here. PSUs particularly prefer Anna University graduates. Chennai location provides great industry exposure with the IT corridor and manufacturing hubs nearby. The semester abroad programs through university MoUs are valuable. Placements vary significantly across affiliated colleges. Top colleges get 90%+ placements with average 10+ LPA. University departments perform the best. The campus is historic with beautiful architecture. Hostels are cheap but basic. Cultural activities like Techofes are popular across all colleges.
